From starting his career as a 15-year-old high school drop-out, Larry J. Gould went on to create two multi-million dollar international businesses. Larry is the award-winning Founder and Chairman of thebigword Group, which he formed in 1980 as a recruitment and language service provider.

In 1996, Larry sold the recruitment arm of thebigword and focused his interest on the small linguist arm, developing it into one of the top 20 language companies in the world with revenue in excess of $100m. In 2021, Larry sold a majority of his shares in thebigword but still remains on the thebigword board.

His business philosophy centres on one word: Irresistible - "Too tempting and too attractive to resist. As an Irresistible mentor, Larry works and invests with a number of different start-ups.

For the last three years, Larry has also worked with Cornell Tech University in New York, running masterclasses for entrepreneurs, and now will be launching a podcast, "The Irresistible Entrepreneur," which helps guide start-ups on their quest to becoming successful.
